Kyser furniture was started 38 years ago by Kyle and Jerry Kyser. Originally located in a small cinderblock building as a furniture leasing company,  as the business grew a showroom was constructed on the same site and more lines added, The Kysers decided to enter the retail furniture business and started with low to medium price goods.  Eventually it became evident that leasing and retail would work better if separate.  So the leasing business was relocated to South Boulevard near Baptist Hospital.  Shortly thereafter Century Furniture was added to the retail location on the Wetumpka Highway.

The business grew rapidly and many other fine quality name brands were acquired.   Over the years, the business has expanded three times and even spawned an Office Products division, which is now one of the largest in the state.  Kyser also owns a store offering youth furniture. 

Currently there is approximately 40,000 square feet of medium to high end furniture on display.  In addition to the many name brands, Kyser offers “The Lighthouse Collection” of imported furniture hand selected to Kyser’s standards of quality.
